The purpose
of the humanities
is to help us
understand
ourselves, others,
and the world.
At its core and in
its simplest form,
the work of the
Minnesota
Humanities
Center
is to use stories
and experiences
to increase the
collective
understanding
of ourselves, our
communities
and our histories.
We leverage
humanities grants
and programming
to weave the
tapestry of stories
that represent
our state to grow
a Minnesota that
is more curious,
connected and
compassionate.
