The League of Women Voters of Minnesota partners with
many community organizations to achieve our mission to
empower voters and defend democracy.
We're especially grateful to the Minnesota Humanities Center
team for recognizing and acting on their ability to convene
important conversations related to voter engagement, elections
and civics education. How we live together in our society is
greatly affected by our ability to better know one another,
our histories and our strengths, and how to negotiate
understanding through our representative democracy.
Humanities is a wonderful discipline to provide leadership
during this critical time, to break down barriers that keep
us from working effectively, equitably and civilly together.
We look forward to expanding our partnership with MHC
as we face increasing challenges to build an informed
and inclusive democracy.
