Reasons for Moving
Reasons for Moving by Claudia Nascimento was a poetic
documentary film connecting the experiences of immigrants
living in Minnesota. The project provided opportunity for
cultural leaders, scholars, and community members to gather
at the Southern Theater to engage in conversations about
shared immigration experiences across the state.
Twin Cities Film Festival
The new MNmicro Cultural Film Festivals
showcased and celebrated the voices,
cultures, and stories from our state through
a selection of curated Minnesota films during
Pride, Indigenous, Black, Asian American and
Pacific Islander Heritage months.
